"Kispoko Town" in south-central Ohio.
1774: Tecumseh's father killed in Battle of Point Pleasant.
August 1810: stormy confrontation with William Henry Harrison during negotiations at Vincennes.
November 7, 1811: In Tecumseh's absence, his brother allows the Indian forces to be maneuvered
into a disastrous battle with US troops.
1812: appointed a briadier-general in the British army, Tecumseh leads his weakened Indian
forces against the Americans in repeated battles.
Oct. 5, 1813: killed in Battle of the Thames.
